As The Phantom of the Opera concludes its legendary Broadway run, here is a series of collected stories and trivia from backstage and beyond. This chapter, PHANTOM PHACTORY, finds us in the room where Phantoms are made: the makeup room. I witnessed the process in person one evening in March, and here are the resulting sketches. A chapter will be posted daily until the final curtain falls on Sunday April 16. 2023.
